Florida's 'Move Over' law is one of the most aggressively enforced in the nation. Uniquely, motorcyclists over 21 can ride without a helmet if they carry at least $10,000 in medical insurance.

Before you drive

Florida requires a 4-hour Traffic Law and Substance Abuse course plus 50 hours of supervised driving for first-time drivers. No state income tax but driving fines can be steep. Insurance minimums are 10/20/10 (PIP state).
