Rules to remember

• Move Over law: must change lanes or slow down for emergency vehicles
• Slower traffic must keep right - it's heavily enforced
• No motorcycle helmet required for riders over 21 with insurance
• Red light camera enforcement in many jurisdictions
• License can be obtained at 16 with driver education

Before you drive

Florida requires a 4-hour Traffic Law and Substance Abuse course plus 50 hours of supervised driving for first-time drivers. No state income tax but driving fines can be steep. Insurance minimums are 10/20/10 (PIP state).
