Rules to remember

• Turn around, don't drown - never drive through flooded roads
• No driving with unrestrained animals in the open bed of a truck
• Right turn on red after complete stop (unless posted)
• Amber alert system participation required on electronic message boards

Before you drive

Louisiana uses a graduated licensing system starting at age 15 for learner's permits. The state requires 50 hours of supervised driving. Insurance minimums are 15/30/25 and the state is a tort liability state.
